In order to use your Gift Card to purchase goods and services from OpenAI, you must first redeem the Gift Card into your OpenAI Account. Note that the full value of the Gift Card will be redeemed to your OpenAI Account - you cannot redeem partial amounts.

1. Visit chatgpt.com/redeem on the web.
2. Sign in to the ChatGPT account where you want to add the balance. Make sure that you are in the right account and workspace for redemption, before proceeding.
3. If you do not have a ChatGPT account, sign up for one. 
4. Enter the gift card PIN.
5. Confirm the redemption, then open Settings > Billing to view your personal account balance. For a Business workspace, owners can view the balance in Workspace settings > Billing.

Balances are stored in your wallet. You can review transactions, view your balance, and redeem additional gift cards in your wallet. Read more.

Check the account before redeeming. Once redeemed the value cannot be moved to a different account.
