Our Fuel Payment Card must be presented to the cashier and cannot be used at Pay at Pump. The cashier will select Gift Cards as method of payment and scan the barcode from smartphone or printed copy. Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards may be redeemed in full or part payment against Diesel or Petrol at Sainsbury’s Petrol Filling Stations only. Non-Fuel related products will need to be purchased with an alternative payment type.

1. The following terms and conditions apply to the Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards 5.1 Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards can only be redeemed in Sainsbury's Petrol Filling Stations and will not be accepted in Sainsbury's Supermarkets, Locals, Neighbourhood stores or online at www.sainsbury's.co.uk 5.2 All Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards are non-refundable 5.3 Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards may be redeemed in full or part payment against Diesel or Petrol at Sainsbury’s Petrol Filling Stations only. 5.4 Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards cannot be used for purchases over the phone, via the Sainsbury's App, online at Sainsbury's co.uk, in the pharmacy, any concession within Sainsbury's or at any Sainsbury's concession within third party retailers. 5.5 Fuel Payment Cards are not a credit, payment or cheque guarantee cards, cannot be redeemed for cash, for Sainsbury's Bank products, services or credit card balances and cannot be resold or re-tendered. This does not affect your statutory rights. 5.6 Sainsbury's may exclude specific products from purchase via Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card, please refer to https://help.sainsburys.co.uk/help/products/about-sainsburys-giftcard for the full listing. Sainsbury's reserves the right to amend this list at any time. 5.7 If you do not spend the entire balance of a Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card in one transaction, the remaining balance will remain available for use. The Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card balance will be printed on the till receipt after each use. 5.8 The value of a Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card expires on the date shown on the Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card, which is 1 month or 12 months from the date of initial activation. If unused within this time the card will be deemed inactive and any remaining balance lost. 5.9 Treat a Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card as cash as it cannot be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen. Sainsbury's is not responsible for any unauthorised use of a Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card. 5.10 You can manage your Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card by registering at https://sites.prepaytec.com/chopinweb/scareRegisterCard.do?customerCode=19191419221819&loc=en&brandingCode=reg_sains Registering allows you to check the balance of the Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card at any time. 5.11 Any funds on a Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some or all funds on any Fuel Payment Card held may not be available to be spent. 5.12 Sainsbury's reserve the right to decline or withdraw Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Cards, the right to amend these terms and conditions for Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the Sainsbury's Fuel Payment Card, if, in its reasonable opinion, it deems such action necessary.
