• Activation: Retail-bought cards are pre-activated. For online purchases, activate upon receipt, either online or via the toll-free number mentioned on the card
• Registration: Needed for online use. Instructions on how to do this will be provided with the card. The process usually requires entering the card information online or by phone as well as your name, billing address and phone number. This will allow you to use a billing address when checking out during an online transaction, giving the vendor an opportunity to verify

• The Visa Virtual Account can be redeemed at every Internet, mail order, and telephone merchant
• Visa debit cards are accepted everywhere in the United States.
• 6-month expiration.
• Can be converted to a physical card in the mail by deducting $3 for shipping & handling
• No cash access or recurring payments.
• Can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
• Card valid for up to 6 months; unused funds will forfeit after the valid thru date
